Multi-Shaft Mixer Handles High-Viscosity Formulations

A new multi-shaft mixer from ROSS designed for viscous solutions, dispersions, suspensions and emulsions features three independently controlled agitators working in tandem. The 320-gallon system combines a two-wing anchor agitator (10 HP, 29 rpm), pitched blade turbine (5 HP, 257 rpm) and auger agitator (10 HP, 135 rpm).
Built in type 304 stainless steel with 80-grit finish, the mixer includes Teflon scrapers and an air/oil hydraulic lift for operator access. A 7-inch touchscreen control panel enables independent speed adjustment, load monitoring and cycle timing. The system accommodates interchangeable mix cans on non-sparking casters for semi-continuous operation, with discharge through a 3-inch flush bottom ball valve. Safety limit switches prevent operation when stirrers are raised or vessels removed. Learn more at www.mixers.com.
