The Alliance for Chemical Distribution (ACD) has announced the recipients of its 2024 awards. The awards, which were presented during the ACD’s Annual Meeting, recognize individuals who have made significant contributions to the organization and the chemical distribution industry.
Richard Erstad, the General Counsel for Hawkins, Inc., has been named the ACD Member of the Year. Erstad has been a member of the ACD for approximately 10 years and has played a key role in the organization’s compliance work. He is also the Chairman of the ACD’s Regulatory Affairs Committee.
Gerard Braud, the founder and CEO of SituationHub, has been named the ACD Affiliate of the Year. Braud has been a strong supporter of the ACD and has worked to help the organization’s members improve their crisis communication strategies.
Joe Broome, the founder of Chemformation, has been honored with the ACD Lifetime Achievement Award. Broome has had a long and successful career in the chemical distribution industry and has been a dedicated member of the ACD.
Jenni Jenkins, the Senior Director of Membership for the ACD, has been named the ACD Employee of the Year. Jenkins has been with the ACD since 2019 and has played a key role in the organization’s membership growth and engagement efforts.
