American Industrial Partners (AIP) has completed its acquisition of PPG’s U.S. and Canadian architectural coatings business. Renamed The Pittsburgh Paints Company (Pittsburgh Paints Co.), the 125-year-old business will focus on delivering innovative paints and stains to professional and DIY markets across the U.S. and Canada.

The Pittsburgh Paints Co. is among the top three producers of interior and exterior paints, stains, caulks, repair products, adhesives, and sealants in North America. It will also serve as the exclusive distributor for PPG's Protective and Marine Coatings (PMC) business in the region, offering advanced products for challenging industries and environments.
