Bodo Möller Chemie Group is in exclusive talks to acquire the distribution activities of Rocktin. The acquisition is part of Bodo Möller Chemie’s strategy to expand its presence in the specialty chemical distribution sector in Asia. The company is specifically looking to increase its strategic growth in the region.

The acquisition would allow Bodo Möller Chemie to integrate Rocktin’s distribution operations and expand its product portfolio. The company is also looking to deepen its partnerships with key principals in Asia. By acquiring Rocktin’s distribution activities, Bodo Möller Chemie would be able to offer a wider range of products and services to its customers in the region.
In addition to expanding its product offerings, Bodo Möller Chemie is also looking to leverage its newly inaugurated laboratory facilities in Shanghai. The company’s Shanghai lab provides state-of-the-art testing and formulation services, which would be made available to Rocktin’s customers.

Bodo Möller Chemie’s CEO Frank Haug stated that the acquisition is a key part of the company’s growth strategy. “This acquisition aligns perfectly with our growth strategy, allowing us to reinforce our presence in Asia and enhance the support we provide to both our partners and customers,” said Haug.

The acquisition is expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2025 pending regulatory approvals and final agreement terms.
