Notes: In March of 2023, the company launched the reformulated Regal Select Interior product. The enhanced formulation features proprietary stain-release technology, increased scuff-resistance, and washes clean without compromising color or sheen integrity. The durable, washable finish enables easier clean-up of common household stains such as pencil, crayon, coffee and more, across all Benjamin Moore colors.
Also in March, Benjamin Moore announced initiatives for Contractor Appreciation Month 2023, building on its first-ever Contractor Appreciation Week the prior year. Taking place throughout the month of March, Contractor Appreciation Month is an expression of gratitude to painting contractors for the work that they do every day to transform and refresh ordinary spaces with precision. In recognition of the dedication and craft of the thousands of professional painters around North America, the month-long celebration included in-store events, giveaways, product demonstrations and more, alongside Benjamin Moore representatives and retailers.
In April of 2023, Benjamin Moore launched Element Guard, the newest premium exterior paint specially formulated to tackle one of the most difficult painting environments: high moisture. Designed to withstand wind-driven rain, excessive humidity, and other harsh weather conditions, Element Guard exterior paint is ideal for use on various exterior substrates such as vinyl and cedar siding, wood, brick, and more. The paint can resist rain as soon as 60 minutes after application and be applied in temperatures as low as 35 °F, extending the painting season and assuring that professionals can paint with confidence.
In June of 2023, Benjamin Moore released its new Color Match Tool, a small, take-with-you-everywhere device that lets users scan the flat surface of any color, to instantly find its closest paint color match with just the tap of a button. It connects to the Benjamin Moore Color Portfolio app so consumers can find desired colors or browse through any of Benjamin Moore’s digital fan decks of over 3,500+ colors.
