Sheboygan Paint Co. announced that Tyler Grimes has joined the company as site operations manager for its Cedartown, Georgia, facility. In this role, he will manage operations and manufacturing processes to safely accomplish production and delivery objectives that drive high-performing industrial coating solutions to customers.

Grimes brings more than 15 years’ experience to Sheboygan Paint Co. His career has been focused on engineering and operational management for chemical manufacturing companies, including GEO Specialty Chemicals Inc. Grimes holds a master’s degree in construction engineering & management from University of Alabama at Birmingham and bachelor’s degrees in applied manufacturing engineering and occupational safety and health from Jacksonville State University. He is a certified OSHA general industry outreach trainer, ISO 9001:2008 internal quality auditor and SME manufacturing engineer. Additionally, he earned the Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification from Georgia Institute of Technology.
