Avantium N.V. confirmed the appointment of Boudewijn van Schaïk as chief financial officer, and as member of the Management Board, effective January 1, 2023. At an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders (EGM) on November 30, 2022, Avantium’s shareholders unanimously endorsed the appointment of Schaïk as CFO until the end of the annual general meeting (AGM) in 2027.

Avantium is a technology development company that develops novel technologies based on renewable carbon sources as an alternative to fossil based chemicals and plastics. The company currently has three technologies at pilot and demonstration phase.
