STAFFORDSHIRE, England — The Schunk Group recently announced the acquisition of Ascott Analytical Equipment, a manufacturer of corrosion testing equipment.

Established over 30 years ago, Ascott is a leader in the world of corrosion testing. Weiss Technik, a subsidiary of the Schunk Group, recognized the strength and growth of Ascott, and it was determined that the two companies would complement each other to create opportunities for both brands around the world.

Manufacturing and the day-to-day operation of Ascott will continue at the company’s Tamworth, England, factory and head office, where the news of the acquisition was announced and representatives of the Schunk Group were welcomed to Ascott.
