OFFENBACH AM MAIN, – Bodo Möller Chemie Group and BASF SE are expanding their long-standing distribution partnership by establishing a new collaboration in Northwest Africa. Bodo Möller Chemie will now support the sales and distribution of resins and performance additives for paints, inks and coatings in Maghreb and the mainly francophone countries in the northwest of Africa. A recently inaugurated office and warehouse in Casablanca, Morocco, will serve as a hub for the region.
“The close and long-standing partnership with BASF is based on a joint value concept of offering sustainable solutions to our customers as well as an in-depth understanding of the needs of this market. The African continent offers an enormous potential, but also requires a high level of customization. Our application know-how and BASF’s technical support and product quality constitute an ideal foundation to sustainably develop the business in Africa,” said Frank Haug, Chairman of the Board of the Bodo Möller Chemie Group.
“Providing logistic support and warehousing locally plus competent technical support in the region is the winning combination for our customers in Maghreb and beyond” added Volker Oehl, Director Business Development for CASE at Bodo Möller Chemie.
"We are very excited about our new cooperation with Bodo Möller in Northwest Africa. The region contains a lot of growth potential in paints, inks and coatings. Together, we are looking forward to better serving our customers with strengthened technical and logistic capabilities" said Erkin Ataman, Head of Sales, Dispersions and Resins Turkey & Northwest Africa at BASF.
