HOUSTON – OQ Chemicals has increased prices for certain Oxo Intermediates in the Americas. The increase became effective Feb. 15, 2022, or as contracts allow.

In North America and Mexico, n-butanol, isobutanol, isobutyl acetate, n-propanol, propionaldehyde, n-butyraldehyde and trimethylolpropane (TMP) will increase $0.10/lb. These products will increase $220/mt in South America. N-Butyl acetate will increase $0.15/lb in North America and Mexico and $330/mt in South America. N-Propyl acetate will increase $0.07/lb in North America and Mexico and $155/mt in South America.
