WESTLAKD, OH — Sea-Land Chemical Co. announced the promotion of Mauricio Galvez to Vice President of Business Development. Galvez is responsible for leading the expansion of Sea-Land's supplier and customer network in the United States, Canada, Mexico and Latin America.

Galvez’s promotion formalizes the increased role business development is taking within Sea-Land. The expansion of his responsibilities and creation of an internal team puts a focus on strategic growth opportunities.

Galvez has more than 10 years of experience at Sea-Land in increasing roles of responsibility. He has 19 years of experience in the specialty chemical distribution industry. At Sea-Land he began as an Account Manager and moved up to Director of Sales for North Region USA, Canada and Mexico. Galvez earned a Bachelor of Arts from York University in Toronto.
