MONHEIM AM RHEIN, Germany – OQ Chemicals recently announced that due to supply and demand and increasing raw material costs, the company will increase prices for the certain amines effective Jan. 1, 2022, or as contracts allow.

In Europe, n-butylamine, di-n-butylamine and tri-n-butylamine will increase €200/mt. These products will increase $0.10/lb in the North America/Mexico region and $230/mt in the rest of the world (ROW). Di-2-ethylhexylamine and 2-ethylhexylamine will increase €250/mt in Europe, $0.13/lb in the North America/Mexico region and $280/mt in ROW. 

OQ Chemicals will increase prices for the certain neopentyl glycol products effective immediately, or as contracts allow. Neopentyl glycol (NPG) slurry will increase €380/mt in Europe, $0.20/lb in the United States, and $440/mt in the rest of the world. NPG molten and NPG flakes will increase €420/mt in Europe, @0.22/lb in the United States, and $490/mt in the rest of the world.
