WESTLAKE, OH – Sea-Land Chemical Co. announced the promotion of Taryn Osborn to Customer Service Manager. The company also announced several additions to the customer service team.
Osborn, with more than three years of experience in customer service at Sea-Land, takes this new position to lead, develop and provide the service to Sea-Land Chemical’s customers. She has a Bachelor of Arts in communications and a Master’s of Science in nonprofit management. The customer service team will report to her.
“It’s always great to promote from within, and we’re excited to promote Taryn because of her leadership, work ethic and passion for the success of her team,” said Jeff Levandowski, Director of Commercial Operations. “With her high level of thinking, she constantly brings up ideas to discuss to improve processes and outcomes. Taryn is a natural leader and will be a great manager.”
In addition to the promotion, Sea-Land announced the addition of two new customer service specialists who will report to Osborn.
Gina Aitken brings several years of customer service and pricing experience from a variety of industries, including specialty chemicals. She understands chemical distribution and supply chain issues well. Aitken has an associate's degree in business administration and management, and in human resources.
Teresa Anderson brings more than 11 years of customer service and inside sales management experience from other B2B service businesses, including specialty chemicals. Her chemical industry knowledge and experience will enable her to come up to speed and quickly begin helping customers. Anderson studied political science and accounting.
