MUNICH – Munich-based chemical group WACKER recently announced that due to rising energy, raw material and logistics costs, the company intends to adjust its prices for polymer dispersions, dispersible polymer powders and resins. The price increase of up to 20% will apply to all WACKER POLYMERS products shipped as of Nov. 1. The temporary surcharge for dispersible polymer powders in Europe is also affected and will increase to €590 per metric ton.

The company reports that the price adjustment will enable the group’s polymers division to continue providing customers with high product quality, technological innovations, best-in-class customer service and technical support, along with supporting investment to secure the capability for future growth across focus markets.
