Synthesia Technology America has confirmed its plans to invest in a new, large-capacity production facility in the United States. The new polyester polyol production facility will feature state-of-the-art production and logistics processes that will facilitate the manufacture of polyols based on recycled PET technology. In addition to the polyester polyol production, the new facility will also contain a systems house for the manufacture of blend polyols and PU systems.
CEO of Synthesia Group David Palleja said, “With the current demand for recycled products and the growth forecasts of the polyurethane panels and spray foam markets, Synthesia wants to take a big step and become an important player in the polyurethane market in the U.S., in the field of polyester polyols, as well as in the formulated systems for spray foam.”
Synthesia has not yet announced the exact capacity of the new facility, the selected location or the expected opening date.
