PARIS-LA DÉFENSE, France – Safic-Alcan France, a subsidiary of the independent specialty chemicals distributor and headquarters of the Safic-Alcan Group, announced that its corporate social responsibility (CSR) performance has been awarded the Gold rating by EcoVadis.

Safic-Alcan France decided in 2014 to implement an ongoing CSR assessment process. EcoVadis was chosen for the task, as it assesses the policies and measures published by companies with regards to environmental, labor practices and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement.

Safic-Alcan France received 68 out of 100 possible points for its first EcoVadis Gold rating and increases its score by 10 points versus its last rating. This ranks Safic-Alcan France among the best 1% distributors assessed by EcoVadis.
