SAINT-LAURENT, Québec — The Protech Group, a coatings and specialty materials manufacturer, has acquired the coatings division of ACG Industry, Gondecourt, France. The official acquisition date is Sept. 11, 2020. Manufacturing equipment will be relocated within existing Protech Group facilities in Europe.

Founded in 1874, ACG Industry is a French company specializing in industrial coatings. The industrial holding group Eurofip acquired the company in 2012. All products are manufactured and sold under the ETICOAT trademark in Europe and North Africa.
