UNTIONTOWN, OH — ChemSpec North America has recently entered into a distribution agreement with Belgium-based Nanocyl SA to promote and distribute Nanocyl’s various multi-wall carbon nanotube (MWCNT) products. ChemSpec will call-on both the United States and the Canadian industrial manufacturing markets. In particular, ChemSpec will focus its efforts growing MWCNT products in thermoplastic and elastomer compounding.

Nanocyl is an industry leader in the development, manufacture and sale of MWCNT- and MWCNT-based formulated products. The company also implements health, safety and environmental standards to ensure safe handling and use of these materials. MWCNT products come in a variety of forms, such as standard nanotubes (NC7000™), on a thermoplastic carrier (Plasticyl™) and an elastomer carrier (Elastocyl™).

ChemSpec is a North American specialty chemical distribution firm working within the industrial polymer compounding market and the cosmetic ingredients industry. It is a subsidiary of Paris-based Safic-Alcan Group, an international specialty chemical distribution company, focusing on both industrial and life science chemistry.
