Organizers of the 2020 Surface Finishing Mexico Conference and Expo announced that the event has been canceled due to the coronavirus outbreak. The conference and expo were set to take place March 24-26, 2020, in Guadalajara, Mexico.

The 2021 Surface Finishing Mexico event will return to the Queretaro Expo center on March 9-10, 2021. To ease financial considerations that this cancelation may cause participants, SFM has instituted a flexible policy that gives registrants the option to apply their booth and registration fees to the 2021 SFM Conference & Expo in Queretaro in a simple and efficient way with no additional fees or price increases.
