ADDISON, IL — The Cary Co., a specialty chemicals and raw materials distributor, has entered into an agreement with Shin-Etsu Silicones of America Inc. for the distribution of modified silicone fluids, silane coupling agents, functional resins and other industrial silicon-based products throughout the Midwest and Plains states.

The Cary Co. will distribute a range of silicone products for industrial applications including fluids, silanes, coating additives and resins.

“The Cary Company is well-positioned to serve the diverse industries that are demanding the quality and performance offered by Shin-Etsu Silicones of America Inc. silicones,” said Brian Ehlert, Vice President of The Cary Co. “We are extremely pleased to be selected as their representative.”

Shin-Etsu Silicones of America Inc., Akron, Ohio, produces silicon-based products for use in the paints and coatings, adhesives, chemical, and graphic arts markets.

Both companies plan to meet the increasing demand for silicon-based products by providing trusted solutions to each customer’s individual needs.
