FORT HILL, SC — The Association of International Metallizers, Coaters and Laminators (AIMCAL) announced that Tim Janes has joined the staff as Membership Outreach Director, a new position.

Janes has worked in the converting industry since 2000, most recently as Senior Account Manager for Converting Solutions Magazine and PFFC. Prior to that, he spent seven years as Vice President-Partner at YTC Media Inc. and 10 years at Penton Media (former owners of PFFC). He has been in the publishing business for more than 20 years.

Craig Sheppard, Executive Director of AIMCAL, said, “We are thrilled to welcome Tim to our staff. With nearly 20 years of experience in the converting industry, he knows the players and understands their needs.” Janes is looking forward to networking with members and helping them reap all the benefits of AIMCAL membership. Other goals include enhancing membership value, increasing member engagement and supporting advancements in the industry.
