FRANKFURT, Germany — Eurocolour – the European umbrella organization of the pigments, fillers and dyes industry – has a new organization. At a founding meeting in Frankfurt, Germany, 27 companies and six associations from Europe and other countries of the world set up the new Eurocolour e. V.
Stefan Sütterlin of BASF Colors & Effects GmbH was elected President, and Dr. Heinz Zoch of Evonik Resource Efficiency GmbH was elected Vice President.
Sütterlin commented, “With this step, we are strengthening the interest representation at the European level. This is of central importance in view of the rules and regulations in Europe and given the international activities of our industry.”
The secretariat of Eurocolour e. V. is run by Verband der Mineralfarbenindustrie e. V. in Frankfurt. Membership in Eurocolour e. V. is open to manufacturing companies in Europe and national and international associations.
