AKRON, OH – Jamie S. Kurdila has joined APV Engineered Coatings as Purchasing Manager. Kurdila, a resident of Akron, Ohio, is responsible for managing the company's Purchasing department, where she is charged with creating supply chain efficiencies, establishing raw material buying patterns, and developing product cost strategies for cross-functional departments.

Before joining APV, Kurdila served as a senior enlisted Human Resource Operations Specialist with the Army Reserve in Ohio. Prior to that, she was a Department of Defense administrator. Kurdila, who holds the rank of Sergeant First Class in the Army Reserve, served two tours in Iraq. She will continue to serve with the Army Reserve while employed by APV Engineered Coatings.
