NUREMBERG, GERMANY — Sun Chemical has increased production capacity for its high-performance Perrindo^® Perylene product line at its Bushy Park facility in South Carolina.

The expansion comes in response to the popularity of the perylene maroon color space and will help to better serve Sun Chemical’s customers around the globe. It covers Pigment Violet 29, Maroon 179, Red 224, Red 123 and Red 190.

Formulators use Sun Chemical’s Perrindo product line to produce deep, rich, chromatic coatings. Expansion plans continue into 2019 and 2020 for the product line’s new Perrindo Ultra Fine pigments, which are pre-dispersed in water to deliver a very high level of transparency that is vital to produce modern, highly chromatic effect finishes.
