PARIS-LA DÉFENSE, France – Safic-Alcan UK, a distributor of specialty chemicals and subsidiary of the Safic-Alcan Group, has acquired 100% of Langley-Smith & Co. Established in 1907, Langley-Smith is a specialty chemicals distributor in the UK, Ireland and mainland Europe with a focus on adhesives, paint and coatings, polymer modification, road marking and rubber processing, inks, and varnishes.
