LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL – The Chemical Coaters Association International (CCAI) announced its first Women in Finishing FORUM, which will be held at the Embassy Suites South Bend at Notre Dame from May 9-11, 2019.
CCAI began its Women in Finishing initiative with a networking reception at FABTECH 2017 in Chicago. The response exceeded expectations, leading to the official establishment of Women in Finishing (WiF) under CCAI. 2019 will feature the expansion of WiF programming, including the Women in Finishing FORUM.
The FORUM will feature a variety of professional and personal development sessions and workshops geared toward women, as well as networking and team building activities. Topics to be covered include: Effectively Navigating Conflict, Building a Championship Mindset, The Impact of Wellness on Success, Successful Finishing Career Journeys from Women in the Finishing Industry, and more.
“We are thrilled with the response to our WiF reception at FABTECH the past two years and are excited to grow WiF programming to further meet the needs of women in industrial finishing,” said CCAI’s VP of Strategic Initiatives, Sheila LaMothe. “Our inaugural WiF FORUM is a major step towards achieving this goal. Holding the event at the University of Notre Dame provides access to unique speakers who will complement our industry experts, resulting in an outstanding, well-rounded program.”
