WETHERBY, UK — New Guard Coatings Group (NGC Group) announced the acquisition of Arcon Construction Supplies. The Wetherby, UK-based business has added Arcon to the group portfolio as it looks to execute its business plan of full UK coverage. The takeover is with immediate effect.

New Guard Coatings Group’s Managing Director Ben Cooper commented, “We’re very excited to welcome the Arcon team into the NGC Group family. They have all been with the company for a long time and have the same ethos and values that we already hold around the group.”

Cooper added, “Arcon gives us access to markets and products which complement our current offering.”

As with previous acquisitions involving New Guard Coatings, Arcon will maintain its own branding and identity.
