ROCKWALL, TX — Eric Jones, founder and CEO of Col-Met, announced that Wade Hickman has joined the company as a co-owner.

”I am pleased to announce that Wade Hickam has joined Col-Met as a co-owner. Wade will work with myself and the entire Col-Met team in providing direction as it relates to further improving our distributor partner relationships, developing and implementing new Col-Met products, implementing additional marketing programs, improving operational efficiency, and spearheading other strategic growth initiatives,” said Jones.

Hickam has a long history of successfully managing and growing finishing-related businesses over his 30+ years in the industry. He spent 17 years at ITW Finishing, now known as Carlisle Fluid Technologies, as the General Manager of several of its business units before deciding to leave the public corporation world in 2003 to own and manage C&C Industrial Sales (CCIS) for the next 13 years.  After growing the CCIS business into one of the largest finishing distributors in North America, he sold this business to OTP Industrial Solutions at the end of 2016.
