VAASSEN, The Netherlands — Kuncai is expanding and restructuring its global marketing and sales organization to meet increasing demand for its natural and synthetic pearlescent pigments. On Sept. 1, 2018, Helen Hatcher assumed the responsibility of General Manager of Kuncai Europe B.V., succeeding Mike Tijdink, who will continue in his role as General Manager of QolorTech B. V., a privately owned masterbatch producer.

Hatcher previously held the position of Sales Director Europe for Kuncai Europe B.V. “We, at Kuncai Europe BV, would like to express our sincere thanks to Mike for the benefit of his leadership and industry experience over the past few years. Mike was key to establishing Kuncai Europe B.V. as a reliable partner for effect pigments in the European market,” said Hatcher. “And we now re-shape our organization to support further growth.”

The company also appointed Geraldine Menard Regional Sales Manager. The appointment becomes effective Oct. 1 2018. Menard has over 30 years of experience in various senior commercial roles, is a specialist in the pigment industry, and has strong relationships with customers across the industrial and cosmetics markets. Menard joins Kuncai from Gezolan and before that in a similar role at Sudarshan Europe BV.
