FAIRLESS HILLS, PA — The Eastern Coatings Show (ECS) is seeking submissions from professionals in academia, government and industry to present novel research results in all aspects of industrial coatings technology for presentations at its biennial conference, which will be held May 13-15, 2019, at Harrah’s Resort in Atlantic City, New Jersey. The goal of the Eastern Coatings Show is to further the advancement of coatings technology and offer educational and technical presentations that provide a better understanding of the theory, science, manufacturing and marketing of coatings and to highlight the improvement of coatings performance and functionality beyond traditional expectations.

Technical papers will be presented May 13-15. The ECS Technical Committee will be responsible for coordinating the agenda and logistics of all speakers.

Potential presenters should provide an abstract for the presentation, biography and photograph of the speaker to Chuck Shearer (charles.shearer@dsm.com) no later than Dec. 1, 2018. Incomplete submissions will not be considered for a speaker slot. Acceptance letters will be sent by Jan. 1, 2019. The presentation schedule will be published no later than Feb. 1, 2019.

The ECS Technical Committee will review the presentations based on their technical content and contribution to furthering the advancement of coatings technology. The presentation format should be as close to a short course as possible. Presentations providing educational insights about emerging technology will be given priority. Although a company logo may appear on the slides, it is not appropriate for a presentation to be overly promotional or laden with trade names. Presentations should be no less than 20 minutes and no longer than 30 minutes.
