AVON, OH — Maroon Group announced that two of its operating companies, Maroon and Addipel, have achieved ISO 9001:2015 certification from the Management Certification of North America (MCNA). This most recent certification demonstrates continuous improvement in ISO quality management systems.
Maroon, a specialty chemicals distributor of additives, resins, pigments and packaging, earned this accreditation for its Avon, Ohio, facility. Addipel, a manufacturer of custom blends, 100% active non-dust blends, and repackaging, earned this accreditation for its manufacturing facility in Avon Lake, Ohio.
MCNA determined that Maroon’s and Addipel’s quality management systems meet customer requirements, and employees demonstrate a clear commitment to the success and sustainability of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) standard. The standards are documented by ISO and provide requirements, specifications, guidelines or characteristics used consistently to ensure materials, products, processes and services are fit for their purpose.
“With continuous improvement and constant change, Maroon Group continues to excel to our customers’ needs and expectations,” said Dave Higgins, Director of Logistics and EHS for Maroon Group. “ISO 9001:2015 now brings us to a higher level of quality as our leadership evaluates risk and opportunity to consistently provide products and services that meet the customers’ requirements.”
