MALVERN, PA – PQ Corp., Malvern, Pennsylvania, announced that effective Sept. 1, 2018, Fitz Chem LLC, Itasca, Illinois, will expand distribution of PQ’s Gasil® and Silcron® silica gels to southern Indiana and Kentucky. The expanded agreement further strengthens the long-term relationship between Fitz Chem and PQ Corp., according to Tony Nock, Global Director of Silcas and Adsorbents for PQ Corp.
With this territory expansion, Fitz Chem will represent the Gasil and Silcron product lines across 18 states: Arkansas, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan (Upper Peninsula), Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas and Wisconsin. Fitz Chem has represented these two product lines in the Midwest and Central states for over 20 years.

Gasil and Silcron silica gels are highly porous materials with tight particle size control, ideally suited to surface coating applications, including paints, lacquers, plastics and paper products.
