SKOKIE, IL – NAPCO Ltd. (North American Polymer Co.), a provider of bathroom and kitchen refinishing products headquartered in Skokie, Illinois, has launched its enhanced refinishing training program. NAPCO’s training program seeks to provide small-business owners with the tools and products needed to succeed as a home improvement professional. The company trains more than 100 refinishing contractors every year.
NAPCO’s refinishing training classes were formerly held over a two-day period, where attendees would learn the ins and outs of refinishing tools, methods and safety procedures for the bathroom. Now, with the launch of its new Essentials product line, which includes products for kitchen countertop and cabinet refinishing, NAPCO has extended its class length to three days in order to include a full day of professional kitchen refinishing instruction.
“With the launch of our Kitchen Renew refinishing products, we saw a need to restructure our training classes to address the application of the new products. The program will now allow for comprehensive education on using all of our products,” explained Dani Nichols, President of NAPCO. “We are thrilled to be able to offer an all-inclusive class to expand the skills of our refinishers, allowing them to provide a wider range of services to their customers.”
The training program is designed for both newcomers and experienced refinishing professionals. While the three-day training classes are the most popular, experienced bathroom refinishers can take a course that focuses solely on refinishing with the new Kitchen Renew products. There are also options available for NAPCO customers who need a continuing education refresher course.
