VAASSEN, the Netherlands - Kuncai Europe BV is in the process of implementing changes to expand and restructure its sales and marketing organization to meet growing demand for its natural and synthetic pearlescent pigments.
“Now that our new 30,000-tons-per-annum, state-of-the-art facility in China is fully commissioned and ready to support a continued, strong demand for ethically compliant pearl pigment, it is the right time to raise our profile and presence in the European market,” said Mike Tijdink, General Manager, Kuncai Europe BV. “We recognize the emphasis that our customers place on specialty focus, consistent quality, value-in-use and compliance, and in response, we are ready to service an increasing demand for our products, both natural and synthetic.”
The company has promoted Arrie ten Caat to Global Sales Director, Kuncai, with responsibility for managing the sales force in all world regions, including China. Arrie has been with Kuncai for two years, and has been pivotal in driving the strong sales growth that the company is now enjoying in Europe since Kuncai Europe BV was first established in 2015.
Corinna Ludwig has joined Kuncai Europe BV as Global Marketing Director, working before at Weilburger Group as Global Project Manager and at Merck KGaA in different global positions in marketing and sales. She will be developing Kuncai’s product and brand strategy and raising the company’s profile in the international market.
Helen Hatcher has joined Kuncai Europe BV as Sales Director Europe, formerly head of Sudarshan Europe BV, in order to support sales growth in the region across both the industrial and cosmetic segments. Hatcher will work closely with Ronald Nau, Global Sales Director, Cosmetics; Uwe Ott, Business Development Manager; and the team in Vaassen, the Netherlands.
Fujian Kuncai Material Technology Co. Ltd., founded in 1999, develops and manufactures pearlescent pigments and is headquartered in Fuqing City, in the Fujian Province of Southern China. It has regional sales offices in China, Europe, North America, India, Korea and Australia.
