OTTAWA, Ontario - The Canadian Paint and Coatings Association (CPCA) announced this year’s recipient of its highest honor, the Roy Kennedy Award. The award will be presented to Pete Wilkinson at the Chair’s Dinner at the Hockey Hall of Fame for his contribution to the industry.
Wilkinson has been a fixture in the Canadian finishing and coatings industry for many years. Wilkinson previously worked as publisher of a coatings publication for Rogers Media before launching the Canadian Finishing and Coatings Magazine (CFCM), which has become a go-to resource for many in the industry.
CPCA presents this award each year to an individual who epitomizes Roy Kennedy’s dedication to the paint and coatings industry and their outstanding volunteer service to the association and its members.
“Pete is tireless in his efforts to cover all aspects of the coatings industry, and I’m very pleased to see him receive this recognition,” commented Gary LeRoux, CPCA President and CEO. “Pete’s work clearly represents the main source for coverage of the companies, the people and the events across the full spectrum of the coatings industry.”
