ISTANBUL – Specialty chemical company Clariant announced a new partnership in Turkey with the distributor Interplast. The agreement involves the distribution of Clariant’s pigments and pigment preparations for the coatings market in Turkey. The partnership became effective on Dec. 20, 2017.

The broad portfolio of Clariant BU Pigments for the coatings market includes high-performance pigments, dyes, preparations and services to meet the demands of decorative, automotive, general industrial, wood, powder, marine and protective coatings. The product range of the division includes trade names such as Hostaperm™, Novoperm™, Permanent™, Hansa™, Colanyl™, Hostatint™ and Hostafine™. Besides its products, Clariant also supports its services through global technical service centers and production centers.

Clariant believes that Interplast will be a good partner to further improve its footprint and offerings to the coatings market in Turkey.
