SIEGBURG, Germany/DIADEMA, Brazil - Siegwerk Druckfarben AG & Co. KGaA, a supplier of printing inks for packaging applications and labels, has signed a contract to purchase family-owned Tupahue Tintas, a market leader in Brazil for flexo and gravure printing inks and varnishes located in Diadema (São Paulo). With this acquisition, Siegwerk expands its presence in the Latin American region and strengthens its ability to serve specific local market demands. Tupahue Tintas offers innovative ink solutions specially designed for packaging converters in the local market.

Tupahue Tintas' portfolio covers flexo and gravure printing inks and varnishes suitable for a wide range of substrates like LDPE, HDPE, BOPP, PP, polyolefin, polyester, aluminum, metallized films and others.
Siegwerk's purchase offer includes the transfer of all technical expertise and product portfolio as well as the manufacturing equipment related to Tupahue's headquarters in Diadema. Both companies will work closely together to ensure a smooth integration of the business without any interference for current customers.
