PLEASANT PRARIE, WI - EMCO Chemical Distributors Inc., a leading chemical Distributor in North America, has hired Mike Kovacik as Regional Sales Representative for territory stretching from Maine to South Carolina. Kovacik will promote the sales effort of EMCO Chemical Distributors Inc. in the assigned territory through the management of existing and new customer relationships. Specifically, he will be specializing in the promotion of Momentive’s silicone chemistry. Kovacik will be based in New York City. 

After graduating in 2009 with a degree in Chemical Engineering, Kovacik worked for seven years as an Account and Product Manager for Aceto Corp.’s Specialty Chemicals Division. Over this time, he focused on both the sourcing and sales of specialty chemicals as well as overseeing the technical aspects of new product implementation. His primary focus was in several industries including coatings, adhesives, and sealants as well as fuel and oil additives.
