ALPHARETTA, GA – Allnex announced that due to the increase in raw material costs, the company is raising the cost of the Liquid Resins and Additives (LRA) portfolio sold in North America.
The primary driver forcing this announcement is the continued increases in feedstocks over the past few months, combined with recent shortages aggravated by force majeures and production outages. The price of products in the portfolio, including but not limited to the following product groups – additives, waterborne acrylics, solventborne acrylics, solventborne alkyds, waterborne alkyds, waterborne epoxies and waterborne amine hardeners – will be increased by up to $0.15/kg. The adjustment will be effective for all shipments as of November 15, 2016, or as contract terms permit.
