Shimadzu’s SolidSpec-3700 UV-Vis-NIR spectrophotometer equipped with the Absolute Variable Angle Measurement Attachment (VAMA) can provide accurate and high-quality transmission and absolute reflectance spectra for the characterization of many materials including, but not limited to, glass, films and filters. The convenience of using one baseline for all angular measurements reduces analysis time and allows for easy investigation of other unplanned angles without added effort. The extended range of the 3-detector accessory (PMT, InGaAs, PbS) of 260 to 2100 nm allows investigation from the UV well into the NIR for all applications.
