The aerospace industry grants the AS9100 certification to manufacturers who meet extremely stringent quality benchmarks. The certification was developed to ensure suppliers around the world are held to the rigorous standards demanded by aerospace companies and defense contractors such as Boeing, Northrop Grumman, Lockheed Martin, General Dynamics and others. Global Metal Finishing also recently earned ISO 9001:2008 certification, a necessity for supplying the global market.
