LA MIRADA, CA – HORN, a specialty chemicals distributor, announced the addition of Rachel Capsavage as Account Manager for the HORN Coatings and Building Materials business unit. A technical sales professional and an experienced chemist, Capsavage will provide added support for the company’s coatings customers in Southern California.

Prior to joining HORN, Capsavage was the Western Regional Sales Representative at Cristal USA. In that role, she established and managed internal and external relationships with all levels and functions of the company’s titanium dioxide customers. She also served as the region’s leading authority in contract negotiations and is credited with growing the overall sales by 177 percent. Her technical background also includes scientific cGMP lab experience such as analytical experimentation and chromatography for global companies.

Capsavage has been active in the industry through organizations such as the Los Angeles Society for Coatings Technology.
