ETNA GREENE, IN - Winona Powder Coating, a high-volume powder coater in northern Indiana and southern Michigan, announced that it will be adding a fourth large-capacity production line to its Etna Green facility. Opened in August 2013, the 167,000-square-foot facility currently houses powder coating lines with five-stage washers, automatic and manual coating booths, and digitally controlled ovens.
“At Winona, we are always expanding our service offerings in order to surpass customer demands,” said Brian Bailey, President of Winona Powder Coating. “This additional fourth line allows us to deal with the challenges of castings and heavy parts throughout the coating, curing and packing processes. We will also be able to reduce lead times and offer quicker customer response.”
The additional large-capacity production line will feature a heavy duty I-beam conveyor, a five-stage wash system and an automatic powder booth. The line is slated to be operational by the third quarter. Once completed, the line will be able to accommodate parts up to 200 pounds per trolley, with the ability to handle extremely heavy components across several trolleys. Winona also expects to add additional manufacturing personnel in the third quarter of this year.
