Dr. Erin Vogel and her team from The Dow Chemical Company won the 2016 American Coatings Award at the opening session of the American Coatings Conference on Monday. Dr. Vogel’s paper, which will be presented at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, is titled Near-Zero-VOC Waterborne Alkyd Dispersions with Solventborne Alkyd Performance.

The prestigious American Coatings Award is given for the most outstanding technical presentation at the conference. Selected and sponsored by ACA and Vincentz Network, it is endowed with a $2,500 cash award along with an attractive sculpture.
