LAKEWOOD, WA – Specialty Products Inc. announced the appointment of Benny (Benjy) Abbott as the company’s Director of Education and Field Training. Abbott will work to expand the company’s current training curriculum and the number of courses offered in the United States and abroad.
Abbott is a NACE Certified Level III Coatings Inspector with the NACE Nuclear Facilities Certification #7953. He was one of the first 25 individuals in the world to complete the NACE Nuclear Coatings Inspection Program. Abbott is a certified SSPC Protective Coatings Specialist and a SSPC Certified Concrete Coatings Inspector Level II. He is an instructor for The Society for Protective Coatings and The Polyurea Development Association, and is the current President of the Polyurea Development Association.
