HAMBURG, Germany - KRAHN CHEMIE, Hamburg, Germany, has taken over the distribution of OXEA specialty esters in France. For this purpose, the company is establishing a local sales team that will operate from the French branch of the sister company, ALBIS PLASTIC, during the initial phase. KRAHN CHEMIE plans on further expanding its presence in France and setting up its own subsidiary in the near term. OXEA and KRAHN CHEMIE have been working together in the field of specialty esters in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Eastern Europe for many years.

The individual components of the OXEA portfolio distributed by KRAHN CHEMIE are composed of the following products: OXSOFT GPO, OXSOFT DOA, OXSOFT TOTM, OXSOFT 3G8, OXSOFT L9TM, OXSOFT DUO 1, OXSOFT DUO 2, OXBLUE ATBC and OXBLUE DOSX. These products are used as plasticizers in the processing of plastics and rubber, in adhesives and sealants, and coatings, and as synthetic esters in lubricants.
