PLYMOUTH, MI - Resinate Materials Group announced that Rick Tabor has been promoted to the position of Chief Technology Officer. In his new role, Tabor assumes responsibility for the operational excellence of Resinate’s science, technology and development function.

“Rick came to Resinate with extensive experience in the specialty chemicals industry,” said Brian Chermside, Resinate President and COO. “His market and technical knowledge are tremendous assets to Resinate in our pursuit of high-performance green chemistry innovation.”

Tabor joined Resinate in 2013 after a successful 30-year career serving in research and development and business development roles at Stepan Co. and Dow Chemical. Throughout his career, Tabor has been named on over 40 patents and has authored 15 technical publications

Tabor will continue to be located at Resinate’s Plymouth, MI, technology center.
