WASHINGTON — The American Coatings Association (ACA) announced that its 2014 American Coatings SHOW (ACS) was awarded top honors in two categories at the recent Trade Show News Network (TSNN) Awards in Atlanta. The ACS received first-place awards for “Fastest-Growing Show, Attendance Overall” and “Fastest-Growing Association Trade Show, Attendance Overall” for 2014.

The biennial American Coatings SHOW, was recognized for its growth from 2012 to 2014. The 2014 ACS, held in Atlanta, set new records for ACA’s premier exhibit, with 480 exhibitors and more than 8,700 overall participants from 70 countries. The fourth edition of the American Coatings Show & Conference broke all of its previous records for attendees, exhibitors and footprint. The 2014 exhibit space expanded by over 20 percent, from 91,000 to 110,000 net square feet due to an increase of total exhibitors and previous exhibitors leasing larger booth space.

In May, the 2014 ACS received similar accolades from Trade Show Executive magazine: the first place award for the “Fastest Growing Biennial Show in 2014.”
