EXTON, PA - Sartomer Americas, a business unit of Arkema Inc. and a global leader in specialty acrylate and methacrylate monomers and oligomers, has named René Neron Plant Manager, Chatham Operations. Neron will be responsible for overseeing all operations and activities at Sartomer’s production plant in Chatham, Virginia. He will ensure that Sartomer’s high-performance specialty chemicals are manufactured with the finest quality. He reports directly to Chris Glover, Global Manufacturing Director.

Neron comes to Sartomer with 25 years of expertise focused in manufacturing site leadership, process improvement and product development, mostly from previous roles with Celanese Corp. There, Neron held numerous key technical and managerial positions, most notably GM of a joint venture in China, before being named Operations Leader at Celanese’s Narrows, VA, facility.
