BEACHWOOD, OH – OMNOVA Solutions announced that Mark Chrisman has joined the company as Global Vice President, Sales and Commercial Excellence of its Performance Chemicals business unit. He will oversee the worldwide execution of OMNOVA’s overall sales strategy.

Chrisman’s career has included leadership roles in both sales and global sourcing. He was most recently Vice President, Global Commodity Management at Alco Inc. Previously, he led worldwide commercial efforts at Chemtura Corp. as Sales Vice President of Polymer Additives, and as Global Commercial Director of Flame Retardants and Brominated Performance Products. Chrisman also held key commercial positions at Ohio Valley Plastic Group, Nova Chemicals, Mozel Inc., Great Lakes Chemical Corp. and Dow Chemical Co.
